I know exactly what you mean. Just seems to be very common occurrence on games with a userbase consisting of mostly male players. I had to resort to changing my character to male on another popular mmo. Astounding how much more respect you get.

The GM team will always listen to complaints of sexual harassment, so dont hesitate to drop a public (community watch) or private (PM's) line (with screen shot evidence please) , and we'll take care of it when we get the chance. No one likes dealing with hormonal just hitting puberty teenage males.

Theres no reason to have to put up with them. First act is to /ignore as soon as you feel uncomfortable, and then if it keeps going come to me or any of the other GM's. Not only do we care about game safety(botters etc), we care about player safety as well.

Under the premise of this forum, the word "gay" would probably only be used inappropriately as an insult. It is really sad though.

Unfortunately, being different in a video game is always cause for negative attention (amplified by anonymity, as someone else said earlier). Three cheers to the ignore button, and if I see anyone hitting on someone unwarranted, I'll help to tell them off. You girls deserve to play in peace just as much as anyone.

I hate to get on my soapbox here, but it's not just anonymity/pubescent hormonalness that's inducing this tidal wave of pervy guys. The huge amount of p o r n (had to space it to avoid the overly-vigilant censor) that's now so freely available, especially on the internet, is objectifying women like never before. If any guys reading this feel bad for Zeb, instead of trying to protect or defend her (see seems to have that very much covered, anyways), you may want to stop fueling an industry that trots women out like cattle to be devoured. You'd be doing far more good.

the fact that this post is even neccesary is quite sad honestly, i get that we have a younger community, but still its sad, you see girls everyday, why freak out when you find one who happens to like gaming? That was written by and large out of personal experience, using one of the multiple pervert archetypes I've encountered online.

That one is the "I can't spell very well, but I promise that I have a really big *****" archetype. Just wait until you encounter the "hyper bro" types or the "I'm going to be super creepy/'intellectual'/insistent and pretend that you like it even though you clearly don't" types.
