Aside from your obvious butthurt bias, why should already existing shinies see their ivs lowered? Try to come up with at least one valid reason

Players that have played this game for years should have an advantage over other players. They have committed their time to the game. This update is a good one and it will pay off largely in the future. All pokemon eventually cycle out. Just adapt to the change like the people that have played this game for years always have.
