As I'd suggested a button to expand the dock, another button (or the same button relabelled) to close it seemed like a given to me as well. However, I appreciate your including it in view of my omitting it.

While looking for specific phpBB plugins today to meet the needs of a number of other websites I worked on, I happened to find on the official phpBB Forum site a thread about a mod called "Prime Login Return". It turns out, with only a small addition to the login code (literally a couple of new lines; and zero changes to existing functionality), phpBB can be set up to always go back to the last page a person was looking at when they login, no matter what they were doing before clicking the login link.

One of the things that seriously annoys me with ALL phpBB Forums, is if you aren't basically filling in a form somewhere on the Forum, and you get logged out and asked to log back in; or if you realise you're not logged in when you're already reading something and click login, you ALWAYS go back to the index. This is especially annoying here in PWO as server instability often causes the Forum to lose sessions, so if the website has a problem even for a small moment, you can randomly be logged out with no warning (tell me I'm not the only one who experiences this). Reading something, being logged out as you're reading something, then having to go back on yourself and refresh after a login gets tedious after a while. So as soon as I saw this fix - and confirmed it worked on a test Forum, of course - I literally downloaded and installed it to EVERY phpBB Forum I'm an Admin of within five minutes - including here in PWO.

You're welcome.

I sense a problem, get directed from the CloudFlare site offline page and BAM! unending loop :p

But seriously, it's an annoying little thing thats nice to see gone :)

Odd, I was going back to the last page when I had to login even before the plugin...

It seems it's dependent on the browser and the action being taken; but the issue usually occurred when the Forum lost your session data and forced you to login while reading something without replying to the topic. In any case, it definitely happened a lot to myself and a number of others; so it seems best to me to install a resolution that covers every situation.

Many members of the PWO Community already have, Tech - way before you posted that message. But your call did cause me to get three more PMs in a five-minute period, so thanks for the kindness :) I'm pleasantly surprised by all the attention I got today - thank you, everyone. And kudos to LunaticJames, who being Australian decided to get in earlier than everyone else - now that's reaching a Gengar's own levels of deviousness ^-^

GMT + 11 ftw. Only Kiwi's may get the upperhand from me.

I have wished Carel a happy birthday too, 23 hours ago from this post. I think it is a conspiracy that both your birthday's are so close to each other.

Oh yes, I was going to mention that! I happened to learn earlier this month about Carel's Birthday being the day after mine; I found it a shocking coincidence. I believe today is her 23rd if I recall correctly?

Since so many of you were so kind to wish me a Happy Birthday (or deathday - I must admit it took a while for people to start using that joke again), I want to extend the same Birthday wishes to Carel as a fantastic member of our Artists team. So please may everyone send Carel a Happy Birthday PM or other message today - let's let her feel special and appreciated as well ^-^

Everyone, I'm taking a break from PWO until further notice. Since last night, I appear to have contracted a serious stomach bug which I will not go into detail about for reasons of decency. Suffice to say, I woke up this morning in a cold sweat; have spent more time in the toilet than out of it today and feel discomfort whenever I move. I also have a headache and the combination is making it difficult for me to properly concentrate on my duties.

While I will continue to lurk the Forum while I have my laptop nearby, I will not be responding to PMs or posting at my usual levels until my condition begins to improve. If you require actual assistance regarding a matter, please contact another member of staff as I'm likely to not respond promptly or at all. I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Thanks, everyone. It means a lot that enough players care about me like this. And Krysi - that made me laugh a lot :D

More bad news I'm afraid. Last night, my laptop's power port broke; and the laptop will no longer use the mains power or charge the battery. The laptop is now basically busted for my needs and I'm waiting on a response to my support request to find out the best way to get it serviced (it's in warranty, thankfully). I'm still able to use the family's Desktop computer when people are at work, or use my phone; but the temporary availability of the former; and the impracticality of the latter will put me out of action for an extended period of time. I'm hoping - as I'm sure you are too - for a speedy resolution.

I'm pleased to say that after a week of trying to explain the problem to the company, I hope to have my issues resolved fairly soon.

During my downtime, I've spent a lot of time catching up on videogames I haven't played in a while; and have finally completed two that have been a thorn in my side for many years. In addition I set a completion time of 56'59" in Mega Man 10 - my fastest completion of ANY Mega Man game (I know faster is likely possible - I don't claim to be an expert speed-runner - but this is personal pride. Plus, I refuse to believe the record times in that game of below 20 minutes are legitimate; especially the 59-second top score which is CLEARLY hacked) - and finally obtained the achievement for an under-an-hour completion in that game. It's funny how satisfying videogames can be sometimes.
