i didnt read anything that u posted here.

just saw the swelling in the armpit part and IDK if its healed or not by now

so my dad had a same thing more or less. swelling under the armpit and it hurts.


surgeons said they had to remove it but then he tried to apply a POM (idk what it is in english since its in italian)

its kinda like a medical cream which can be seen in any drugstore after 1-2 weeks its gone

Thanks for your concern, xellos. Over here such things are usually treated with antibiotics; and I was given some to fight off any reinfection once it reached a certain point; but it wasn't offered to me at first because when originally visited the doctor, it was their opinion that the growth had already got sufficiently large that antibiotics would no longer be effective enough. Hence the need for surgery. But yes, it was a while ago now. I've long since recovered from that abscess; though the surgery left a visible mark underneath my arm which still remains today.

Recently a number of players have been messaging me asking whether the Staff have any seasonal events in the pipeline. I must say, I always enjoy players getting excited over the idea of an event; and sometimes when I hear speculation on what some of you think might be coming up next I get pleasantly surprised. I must say though, I think it's completely the wrong season to be thinking about Halloween or Christmas events yet, players. If I had the ability to rush the clock forward to Autumn or Winter at will... well, this would be a very interesting world indeed. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves - there's still Summer fun to be had after all

Important notice, all!

I meant to post this earlier, but time has been escaping me. Nevertheless, I want to inform the entire PWO Community of some planned inactivity on my behalf this weekend. On the 5th of July, one of my other main business ventures, WPS Interactive - and specifically, its online radio division Sanitarium.FM - celebrates its Seventh Birthday. As a special celebration, from that day and potentially stretching into early Monday, the entire business is operating a 48-plus hour Gaming Marathon for charity.

The event will see the main DJs each host various games which will be played by differing groups of Staff and regular listeners - all of which will be livestreamed over Twitch - along with some special editions of our regular shows on the radio stream itself (which now also has a high-quality version for the audiophiles who don't mind using a little extra bandwidth). We also have a new Survival Island map of our own construction on our public Minecraft server, for those who'd like to test their Minecraft Survival skills.

The event will be raising funds for Games Aid, a charity helping to keep hospitalised kids entertained and active; and one that's very close to my heart. Our current goal is to raise just £1500 by event's close. While I won't be personally hosting any of the games or shows (my role in the business is Tech Officer, not DJ), I will be maintaining the technology responsible for keeping the whole event running smoothly; and will likely get involved in playing a few games myself. As a result, I can't guarantee I will have any free time to additionally focus on PWO during the weekend; though of course I will make all attempts to be available when time is available.

I've just been assisting with updating the dialogue for the Warden in Kanto Safari Zone, to take into account some changes which will be introduced in the next batch of spawn zone updates.
