Umm i battled Ethan but i lost cause i had one poke with less than half Hp =/
i waited for it to reset battled him just a while back but ethan gave no feather

It's a bug with Ethan that is currently known. A workaround is already known, in battling wild Pokemon and talking to Ethan repeatedly until he yields the feather.

Mt silver open to everyone.

Added: After completing the mt silver quest, and talking to Adena in her lab you may now use security escort williams in the mt silver pokemon center to fast travel to Adena's lab for 15,000.

I understand that, but you must also remember how much the pokemon in mt silver drop...

I can understand that, it's just now it's the highest tp and you can get there in like 5mins.

I created the price without thinking about other TPs, I don't even know their prices. Also with the other TPs they don't take you to a leveling area, they let you bypass an area.

I was more concern with the price of escape ropes.

If it didn't cost anything I could see people taking VERY low pokemon up there, doing a couple of battles until they faint then returning to heal and getting huge amounts of XP very quickly for their low level pokemon. I think 15k is very reasonable for this, the highest leveling area so far.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the guard outside the 5th floor stopped letting me pass.
When i spoke to the professor she said I now have access to it and i went in an out 2 times without problems, the 3rd time he wasn't letting me pass.

Actually the NPC that takes you past Glacial pass charges 15k, so if anything lower the price for that TP. Also if the prices of escape ropes went down that would be very helpful. 16 free escape ropes are handed out to help new players.

After that players should have enough money to afford them. If they can't then they didn't spend their money wisely

i wont say that....becuase the PC is out of the Mount and for you to heal your poke you'll need to spend 10k for a Escape rope or walk out which will take awhile...if there was a PC inside Mt Silver maybe next to the LAb you'll be right....but i dont think DC's will spend money on a Escape Rope+15k each time there poke will die on dcing
