With Auckland, Australia already celebrating New Year's Day and countries in every other Time Zone about to celebrate their own over the next 24 hours, I thought I'd get in early to wish our PWO Players - and all visitors to our site and Forum - a Happy New Year. Here's to a great 2014!

Btw, Jinji, unless you edited the topic, you said Australia was in new year at 10:53pm

And, raa, 2013 peasants. Come join me.

According to BBC News, New Year's Celebrations had begun there at 11:15am UTC. I'm aware this was not actually New Years in Australia at the time - the celebrations likely were started early as a run-up to the actual moment - but I did not implicitly say this in my original post.

Lol. They would have started at 4am UTC. We party hard. \o\
1pm UTC was still the time that the clock ticked over and ushered away that 3.

Are you still going to be hiding in 2013's shadow soon? :p
