This thread was a great success on the old forums, so it can not be absent from here. Courtesy of mad30, who initially came up with this thread on the old forums.



Do you know someone who has helped you out a lot? Someone who has made you feel special and closer to the community? Someone who you can depend and look up to? Someone who has gone out of their way to do an extra good deed of kindness? Return the favor, and express your appreciation for them or what they have done.



To take the focus off of all of the hatred and negativity happening within the community, I wanted to bring this thread back to bring the community together instead of tearing it apart. Please post positive comments only. The purpose is to focus on positive things in PWO and its community, not the negative things. If negative comments are made, and are bad enough, I request that a CG+ edits/deletes the posts.



I'd like to make a shout out to the entire staff, including the DEVs/Admins/GMs/GEs/CGs/etc, for all of their hard work. Many times I forget that they aren't required to do what they do, as it's a all a volunteer project, yet they go out of their way to put in their time/effort to improve the game and the community. I applaud them for all of their hard work and what they put up with, to make the most out of this volunteer project.

I would also like to thank a couple of "inexperienced players" for basically getting me started in trading for much more valuable pokemon than what I had.. Like someone who traded me a (S) Seadra and Pikachu (when pika was still HR) for 2 Mil... ah.. the good ole days.. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/EeveeDazzled.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":dazzled:" />

For me, I have to say, I find that there are a couple of peoples that, If they weren't here, I'd have probably left. Jinji and Lee have been here pretty much since the beginning, and were always around to lend me a hand when I needed something in the early days. I'm glad I can say that I get to work with them on this project. The other persons I feel that need mentioning are Sarayu, Luke and Diana. Luke and Diana were always around, chatting, helping, and sometimes trollin' (but who hasn't trolled before :3). And Sarayu, He kicked off the Newsletter again, which got me involved in the staff, and for a couple of months, we co-ran in. He was a great person, and a brilliant leader; its a true shame that he had to leave.



If I have to name a favorite, It'd have to be..... derp. ermmmmm, Lee or Jinji...... I cant decide!!!! oki oki, I got it now, 42..... idk <3 you guys

I would have to say Jinji as well. He has helped me alot and has done so quickly.



My fav members would have to be Nero since he does so much for so many people without asking for anything in return. He seems to know the answer for everything, and will give the answer without getting the attitude (or at least he doesn't seem to show it) even if it's been asked over and over. But I also gotta put Mad, Mantis, and Novo on here too, they seem to always be up to a good conversation and makes chat not so boring with only 60 peeps on

Um... I have to say that may not be correct...

Pesticide has to be a Poison-attack...

If you are part Bug and Part Computer program (like Porygon) you are a Bug/Normal - Pokemon... if you refer to your ginger-ness, that you see a similarity between your ginger-hair and the vegetable "ginger" to immune you against the poison, then I must correct you again, because plant-pokemon are vulnerable against poison, too..



so you can say you are a bug/normal pokemon and just vulnerable (Damage x2) or you are a plant/bug/normal pokemon (THEN you would be special, because normally you are just 2 types, max...) and even more vulnerable, because Bugs AND plants are vulnerable against poisons... xD

im not a pokemon so all of this is irrelevant ozzi <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BulbasaurSilly.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" /> but anyways pesticide has no effect on me because gingers cannot die because we have no soul to lose. the mantis portion comes in handy in fights to be agile and stealthy as well as quick cuz they can fly pretty fast, and the computer program comes in handy because then i can become one with technology.

it was j_strip when he was on. he always hooked me up when i was in trouble and was just starting out!
