It would be right to say that Spring 2020 is nothing like the previous Springs we've experienced, and the same is true for PWO. In the past few hours, we've been noting that two areas have been experiencing swarms, some even say these Pokémon have been dropping rare items...
Johto
Last Autumn, schools of Mantine wandered away from Route 41 not knowing an early winter would trap them in ice until now. These schools of Mantine have been swarming back to Route 41, making it more common than usual. They've been scaring away the Lanturn that usually swim here, we need you to help to reduce the amount of Mantine on Route 41. While they were trapped in ice, they managed to find a very rare item they sometimes leave with you if you're lucky enough.
Kanto
A very strange phenomenon has been happening on Route 3 for the last few hours. Swarms of a bug previously unknown to us have been spotted. We're worried it will disturb our ecosystem, Jigglypuff may have been scared away from the area, we need your help to check it out. Additionally, rumour has it these rare bugs have been dropping rare things, maybe you should look into it as well.
According to our experts' predictions, these swarms will last for 2 weeks, we really need your help to restore our habitual ecosystem!
