Hello

Following the announcement of our Forum software switch - there may be a number of posts & signatures which are broken or may not appear as you would expect (ie. larger in size).

Please provide links to the post or profile in question as a reply to this topic.

If you are the original author of the post / signature - please avoid editing until we have identified if its a wider issue or not.

Thank you.

Figured I'll test out this new attachment system thing while I'm posting here.

I found two links that display a blank page.

http://forum.pokemon-world-online.net/showthread.php?tid=134&pid=349901#pid349901

http://forum.pokemon-world-online.net/showthread.php?tid=34644&pid=349596#pid349596

They display as this instead of showing the topic.

This is caused by clicking the highlighted links in this image.

Another problem is avatars being warped with opposite dimensions in these two locations shown.

This is all I've come across so far, hope it helps. :)

Edit July 8th: Adding another big avatar here since this post has a open slot.

Really? Strange, it's still not working when I click on it...

Edit July 7th:
Hi, the reason I'm editing this post is because I didn't have enough attachment slots left on my other posts.

I checked some new posts after visiting the forum again and stumbled upon a few more huge avatars.

This one in particular...it's literally bigger than the page for me.

Note: This issue seems to be a lot more extreme when you uncheck the classic mode option in user control panel. The avatars display as shown in these attachments when you do so. This however does not mean that the issue is nonexistent in classic mode, it just means it's less likely to be noticed.

Also I've added another big avatar report to this post.

Decided to click on some links here to see if they worked and they did this time, however I spotted some huge avatars in the process. Took pictures just in case they display differently for others.

Also I checked on another topic that had a new post and this person's signature is broken. ...Either that or he chose to type this in as his signature for some reason. >>

http://forum.pokemon-world-online.net/showthread.php?tid=37583&pid=350040#pid350040

I also found another massive avatar.

This one in particular isn't all that bad, but the width is like double what it should be.

Edit: Found more huge avatars, can be found in this post.

It appears that phpBB allowed people to upload or link to avatars larger than 150x150px and simply have them resized by the Forum to be within the limit; however, when everything was moved over to our new MyBB Forum, those avatars stopped being resized. The current theme WILL shrink the avatar in Classic Mode if it would stretch past the width of the left column; however, in Modern Mode, the avatar is allowed to be as wide as the post itself, allowing for the large images seen in your screenshots.

Yes, this is what I was explaining in my second post with the blue text. I'll put the reports on hold for now because I don't really like flooding and this is kind of a common problem throughout the forum from the looks, but if for whatever reason the issue can't be solved all at once and needs each avatar to be reported individually (Which I'm doubtful this will be necessary.), I will continue. Thank you for responding. <3

Edit July 9th: I found a post with a missing image inside a spoiler, I'm not really sure if the image (or images if this is a common problem among the forum) can be recovered from the old forum or not. I will leave this here just in case.

@Krysi

For the broken posts - they are working on this end.  Could you verify if they are still not working?

If they are not - if you could try changing your 'Posts per page' setting from http://forum.pokemon-world-online.net/usercp.php?action=options.

As for avatars - some amendments have been made.

I'm not quite sure if you're intending to highlight any errors for these posts?

Silly, my third post said they worked. :p

However I can note that I was having the same issue regardless of how many posts there were per page. Once it started working again the posts per page didn't seem to matter for that either. My internet was fine at the time (I did a few tests to make sure.), so the only conclusion I can make is some sort of temporary connectivity issue with the forum. It all seems to be working fine now though. :)

Thanks for responding and fixing all the things that need to be fixed. /o/
