PWO for smartphone?

I'm asking here if there is a possibility to have in the future an app that allow you to play pwo, in mostly for battles and for trade, not full potential of course. I'm wondering if all this can be possible. Cause in this way most of us that are not home most of the time, can be connected and in our free time, for example in my lunch time at school, we can do any battle to have bit fun.
Is this possible? Maybe in a not too much far future? It will be awesome anyway.

Actually its more than just that. Apple's app store policy would make it impossible to have a pwo iphone version. I remember reading a staff post where they said the android version could be possible but they didn't plan on it.
Correct me if I am wrong but that's the last of what I have heard.

I'm not sure if it's been completely ruled out or not, but I do think it would be a bad idea personally. It's like direct competition for nintendo handheld versions of the game. I would prefer to encourage players of PWO to keep buying the nintendo games for use when you don't have access to a computer than make ours more like theirs in that way.
