Problem with membership.

I acquired a membership a week ago, I've played 50 hours trying to capture some shiny, and so far I haven't been able to find anything.

Could you please check if everything is correct with my signature.

My friend, with 6 to 8 hours of playing time, can find 1 to 3 shinys a day, while I, with 50 hours of playing time, haven't found any, it's as if I didn't have a membership.

I can confirm you currently have an active membership.

Encounter logic in PWO is the same for all users. The calculations used are the same for everyone, except for a single variable to allow memberships to have 4x a chance of Shiny Pokémon. Whether any one particular encounter will be Shiny or not, however, is completely randomized. Due to the nature of chance, there will always be situations where one person appears to have much more luck than another. Over time, however, this will eventually swing around, so the unlucky person will start seeing their luck improve, and the lucky person will stop being so fortunate. This is a by-product of the law of averages — the more encounters you have, the closer the average will get to the intended rate. However, it should always be remembered that the stated 1-in-2048 rate (or 1-in-8192 for non-members) is only an average chance, and not a guarantee.

Yeah, that's called "Jobey Luck" it's almost like that, despite having an MS, your shiny odds are the same as normal people not having MS. You have inherited the legacy of a burden few can handle! You have been chosen by the RNG God's as their own personal plaything! I tip my hat to you and you have my prayers! LMAO
