We are pleased to announce that Amulet Coin is now available in game.

You can start the mini quest to get the Amulet Coin in either Celadon City Casino or Goldenrod City Casino.

Happy gaming~

Don't know how to update the wiki, if anybody with access can add the quest. i'm grateful.

At Celadon Casino, first speak to npc High Roller Rolls, second speak to Alfred.

I believe AsianKid is the main editor right now, so I'm sure they'll get round to it :p
There is actually a step before the battle you've missed to initiate the quest; which is speaking to either Royce or Rolls. This is hinted by the Clerk if you speak to her prior to starting the quest.
I should also note that the NPC names differ between locations also. High Roller Rolls (quest starter) and Alfred (Batlle NPC) are in the Celadon Casino whilst High Roller Royce and Andy are over in Goldenrod Casino.

So a great new addition. Any plans to add Running Shoes that can be used in maps that the bike cant?
I don't think the staff would be too opposed to it. It sounds like it would be a great addition to the game.
The Amulet Coin was a lot easier to add because it was already in game so only required scripting and a little tweaking. Running shoes would require a DEV, so a bit more of a project.
EDIT: And an artist to make the sprites of course.

What is Amulet Coin? Can I eat it?
Though not advised, I guess you could try.
If your question was genuine, it doubles the amount of money you get from battles if the Pokémon holding the coin is used in battle.

Just to remain positive, that's a great step to the game. Thanks for letting it happen and we are always wishing for more.
