Hmm... I don't quite understand why it wouldn't trigger, since Salamence does indeed know Intimidate in PWO; and the game is supposed to check each time a Pokémon enter a battle for whether they have Intimidate, so it should have triggered. Please let me know if this continues to happen; if it does, I might have to try a battle with similar Pokémon myself to track what's going on.

Right, I'm not keeping posts I believe are not entirely factually accurate; nor am I keeping responses I feel are of an incendiary nature. As I stated in my very first post, this Change Log is meant for my updates and serious discussion of said work ONLY. Take those matters elsewhere.

Back on topic - the answer to your question is no Sabo, at least not at this present time. Currently PWO's server and database structure does not support us giving Pokémon more than one ability. An agreement was made many years ago that the ability given to each Pokémon in PWO would be the first ability known to that Pokémon in official games as of the most recently agreed Generation, currently Generation 5; and as such Dragonite was updated to follow this standard. We are aware a number of other Pokémon are breaking this rule as well and it is my intention to update these over time as I work to implement missing abilities.

Now, it IS fully possible that with server enhancements; added data for each Pokémon in the DB; and perhaps a small amount of client-side support for making the decision on what encountered wild Pokémon will use as their ability (though a server-side solution likely exists here too and it may come down to which is more efficient), we can fully implement Pokémon having a choice of ability in future. This is not at the moment a priority, but will likely become one once the Ability code as a whole is in a much more stable position.

Wouldn't it be a huge security risk to allow the client side to help in deciding this?

Actually, that's a very good point. Allowing the client to decide what ability a wild encounter has opens up the potential for manipulation such as ensuring Pokémon always have a defined ability rather than always being a random choice. Best practice is always to give the client only the most minimal amount of trust necessary to function.

Hi!!

Seems people are reporting battle bugs here, so I got a funny one for you =)

http://prntscr.com/5k3nfp

My arca killed the venusaur, and the other player sent in Altaria. So I hit it with outrage, he hits me with his att, the altaria faints because its hurt by poison o_O

Also some time ago, and of this I do not have SS, but I'm sure you can recreate it, I was battling in PvP, and my Tyra was fainted after being hit by future sight, a psyhic attack XD. And also my weezing was fainted by fissure, a ground move. =P

Please take a look to these.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Hey there. I'm afraid what you observed could have merely been an effect from one of the previous rounds of the battle or just another battle done by your opponent prior to your battle.
The Altaria could have been poisoned then; and, after taking severe damage from a critical Outrage from your Dragonite, fainted during the battle.
Although, it could indeed be a bug. And if so, the Gengar will take care of it like he always does.
Hope this helps :)

I hope they aren't too much trouble for people to read. I used to use a glow effect as well as purple text on all my posts to emphasise my ghostliness; and I stopped using the glow because it made my posts difficult to read - however I never removed the effect from my signature.

Well then Jinji [aka the gengar] will take a look at the moves you mentioned and let you know if anything's wrong. :)

I apologise for the lack of updates this month; I guess I forgot to say but I've been very busy outside of PWO over the Christmas period. Unfortunately I still expect to remain busy until at least the 5th of January or so, so I will be unable to respond to any concerns about moves or broken mechanics until then.

However, I have just updated my Changelog with news of stuff I have managed to find time to work on this month. It's not much but I hope it's appreciated all the same.

Have you ever tried using a 100% acc move? Sleep Powder owns 75% acc so its a bit vague for us if it is just coincidence or a bug as it is not guarantee to hit.
