There was an IRC Channel made with the intent to hold Staff meetings, which he was repeatedly invited into. He never attended.
Also, the two of us spoke on Skype the whole time he was part of the Staff, except he cut me off himself a week before the ****storm occurred (I actually consider myself lucky that the day before it happened, I had been away on a business meeting and had come back a few days later). My messages to him when we spoke were mostly of a friendly, supportive or contributory nature (the only negative I really made was in regards to the Dancing Pokémon update, though I made helpful suggestions for that as well); and I actually welcomed him the first time we spoke. I can supply chat logs if I have to.

I find all of this too funny... it was a sob story and the way he worded his post did seem like that he has been using donation money to pay his pathetic bills... I have 0 respect for Bluerise because he doesn't give a damn about us... we was promised a new playerdex 3 years ago... and now he gets around to doing something about it... and don't give me that sob *** story about why it has taken so long... that's your story and you're sticking to it... I know... but all I hear is pathetic excuses and sob stories...
staff doesn't give a damn about their players unless they kiss their asses and grovel at their feet... ***** please... you're not royalty.. and every one of you need to get down from that power high and get back to reality.. you can try to cover your asses until you're blue in the face but please... spare the dry tears... saying I act like a spoiled brat... ***** please... you all act way god damn worse... wah wah wah...

im nto speaking of you specifically. im speaking of your "team". i mean a teams only as strong as its weakest link right?

All his updates were tested with staff, i know that for a fact. i also know that some things had to be tested on a larger scale after. Trial and error.

Also i never mentioned anything about "shinies" thats all on you guys. i didnt even bring that up.

Not to mention you were/are too slow for Shane, he kept updating the game daily, while you are doing (i dont know/care), you say you are a team, but why u keep PWO going this way?? everything is so slow, battle system is pathetic compared to what pokemon rlly is, content?? sigh* not even talk about it, u should hire some more staff members as there are lots of stuff should be worked on, actually we need more people like Shane, keep the game updating daily, if not, then hopefully my sons or grandsons could be able to play PWO in a hoenn region or battling in a decent battle system

The community use to be one of the best quallities about pwo, now it's the worst. Fact that players are stating death threats and making post like this to the only person keeping this game afloat not only proves that, but how irrational and ignorant this community has become.

Onto more important matters. All of this negative feedback with the community with regards to Shane's departure might not have been avoided but Staff really needs to open up to the community because everything is done secretively. How else do you intend on building a solid relationship with a community of players if you're going to adapt a turtle lifestyle and ducking your heads away with important stuff the community should know about and only later when the **** hits the fan, want to poke your heads out and say something?

PWO is slowly dying out. There's no two ways about it.

This thread and the one posted by Blue were pointed out to me by a friend so i checked it out. The PWO community has really sunk and is complete crap right now, I'm surprised Leelee aka Bluerise has even stuck around this long with the crap thats going on. I respect him highly but at the same time feel bad for him because of so many of you, it really makes me sad that things have come to this point, I do miss the days of old and at the same time I am so glad I have left most of you. PWO has changed for the worst, I hope one day the community returns to its glory days. This is pathetic.

Shane was actually planning on releasing it for android/ios last I know (not that it ever had a chance of being approved by apple).

Also, for everyone talking about needing people with different opinions on teams and crap, your ignorance is showing. There are many situations that can support the idea that people of all different opinions and view points are needed and have been successful in the past. However there's just as many where this is not the case. A balance of this ideology is required, business's will replace people who do not fit their environment, governments try to have all the leaders be apart of one part or another, people welcome different opinions, but then push back against actions they do not approve of. All too often when the top person at a business or organization has been changed, the new leader will bring in others that share his own values. I am not saying you don't want anyone that goes against the majority of a group, in fact it is a must... as long as limits are applied. Anyone who is seen as being too radical/aggressive/no conforming/not a team player will always be removed.

Unfortunately, while shane wasn't necessarily forced out because of this, he was pressured out. I think everyone in pwo (players and staff members alike) will agree the current staff made mistakes (even if they don't agree they were at complete fault). The staff has recognized and admitted their mistakes in public. Instead of moving on however, tantrums are being thrown. As far as I'm concern anyone still crying about the shane ordeal is just compounding any issues the game has now and doing no favors to everyone else involved with the game.

In my humble opinion, it's inaccurate to compare PWO to any business. PWO is a volunteer-based organization, if you must, compare it to any volunteer work in the world, but never to a real business where employees get paid to be do work. We are just asking people who waste some time in this game's development (many of them don't even play because they don't have enough time to play and develop at the same time), to do the work on our terms without considering the fact that they are volunteers.

They can simply use that time and effort to gain more money, learn new things for their career, or even play the game and demand some updates from others.


One note: the above posts lack many facts and most of them are based on assumptions.
