^ Indeed. Good rod isn't in game right now, but old rod can catch everything so it's all good.

A good rod is not availible in the game. You can only use an old rod and the highest fishing level you can get is 50.

Hey friend, in fact there is only one rod in the game, and through it, the more you fish, the higher your level will be to capture Pokemon by fishing, so the rod does not matter anymore but the lv that you can with it <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/TeddySad.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />

No it's not.

There's no fishing level cap. The most you'll ever need is 50, however.

It tells you the percentage of going to the next level. There's no actual number or anything. Just percentages.

That's not the max. Some people have over level 100 fishing.

Again, there is no max.

This is not to say there will not be a cap on Fishing Levels in the future; or that new Rods won't be added to give a reason for higher skill levels. But nothing is planned as of yet and there are no guarantees.

my fishing lvl is 104, i know of only a handful of players with higher.

whats the reason to have such a high level? does it increase the succes chance of fishing or is the chance to meet rare, vr, etc. poke more often?
