Earlier today, I was quite shocked to discover email in my inbox telling me about posts I hadn't yet read on PWO Forums - which means only one thing. Yep, PWO's Email System is fixed and functioning once again! <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/TreeckoWoot.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":woot:" />

The Pokémon World Online Sapphire Server's email system has today been fixed, mainly thanks to Xanatus; meaning that the server is once again able to send out emails to our users as any of the PWO Services need it - for example, password reset emails should return to being functional, so you will be able to try them again before resorting to Lee's form for help. The system is still undergoing testing, but if everything works smoothly, we will soon be able to serve email for all the services that use it - especially the Forum which has in the past been notorious for bringing it screeching to a halt.

Please to note that there are still no guarantees that everyone will receive their emails straight away, as there is a limit as to how many emails can be sent daily at present, which for these testing phases is rather low - but we will raise it as the need requires if everything works out. Having said this, the fact emails have already been sent out since this system went live already makes it better than having a system that didn't work at all, knock on wood. Enjoy!

(TL;DR Summary: You honestly need one this time? <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/HaunterTease.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":tease:" /> )

I refuse to read the topic without a tl;dr summary!! (joking of course, <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BulbasaurSilly.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":p" /> )

Good job, and thanks for the news <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ChikoritaSmile.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":)" />

Hopefully there is a bigger influx of people rejoining the game as a result, and the game/forums see a new growth spurt in activity again.

The reset password option on the playerdex only leads to a system error. Same as Claiming Tokens.

Don't want to sound ignorant so I'll mention it was very good of Lee to sit there all day clicking Validate Validate Validate for us <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/PikachuExcited.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":D" />

And now that the email server's back up I don't have to wait behind 3000 people to see if I entered the right email address for my alt, just to have to do it again. :/

Emails are still sent even with system error, though I intend to sort that out some time.
