The issue is the bug you likely referred to is probably client related rather than server related. Shane is the client dev who you may have not noticed hasn't been active as of late. Basically it's a case of we do what we can because we can do it, of course sometimes this isn't the best way to handle things.

Well .. the problem of lag (like others ..) was already there before, I think you should divide the players into 2 or 3 servers as you do in MMOs.

Ak si myslÃÅ¡ že každý tu má pÃsaÅ¥ ako mu zobák narástol, tak ja ti tak tiež odpoviem.
Ako si si už urÄite vÅ¡imol, PWO má isté problémy so serverom.
Sú priamo spojené s otvorenÃm registrácie - nápor na server bol taký veľký že sa server stal nestabilný a admini museli robiÅ¥ isté úpravy.
Bug s Äiernou liÅ¡tou ktorý spomÃnaÅ¡ je už dlhÅ¡ie známy, no je to problém s klientom a ako pÃÅ¡e Bluerise, kóder klienta je dlhÅ¡ie neprÃtomný.
Admini sa preto snažia robiÅ¥ vÅ¡etko Äo je v ich silách aby sme mohli vÅ¡etci hraÅ¥.
ProsÃm, buÅ¥ trpezlivý.

" />less lag, more difficult to log in.. a bit hard for us who only play PWO when we have a little spare time at the office/work.. ah well, there's nothing much to do anyway if u already have 16 badges and full max lvl poke team.. just hope there's an improvement in this matter when there's an event/new things in the future..
just a suggestion, if the team still planning on limit the cap to only 400 user online, why don't we just have some kind of an auto log out timer,, when we will be automatically logged out after 30 minutes / 1 hour, to give other player the chance to log in..

auto logout is a bad idea, how would you like it if you were in a battle with clair or another person, and just get disconnected? i would cry D:

It really was very bad about the limit of 400 people, could put before you log how many people have in PWO. so we will not even connect because it is in loading is boring.

The server cap doesn't bother me, and you know why? Beacuse in a week or two, the magic of a new pokemon game will have faded for a lot of the new players, and it'll be much easier to log in. This ALWAYS happens when reg opens, no matter if the cap is 400, 700, or even 1000. If this helps prevent lag or crashes, then I can handle not being able to fit in the server sometimes <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ChikoritaSmile.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />

Now that the server cap is set someone tell me why it says "Server locked for other players" <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ChikoritaSmile.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />
" />In my opinion you have caused more troubles than actually fixing them. First of all, the way it is now half of the players cannot play, because the server is full. For some reason it says that the server is locked for other players, why is that? If you don't create one more server with a cap 300-400 or get this server back to 700 I don't see any point to open the registration again. Even if there is lagg you still play, meaning you don't wait 2-3 hours to get a free spot to get disconnected and then wait to get a free spot again.And if you eventually log in you will probably have almost the same lagg as before. I don't want to offense anyone... but that's just stupid.
