hello everyone! My friend just asked me a question and it got me thinking. "What pokemon do you think are you most like" seeing as there are so many choices i would think there would be a pokemon personality for nearly everyone.

It took some thought But, I think the pokemon that most fits my personality would be Snorlax, Because im always so sleepy but full of energy and ready to chow down, or just squish some1 when i need to. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/SnorlaxTired.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="-_-" />

So, what pokemon personality do you think you are most like?

The question is what Pokemon YOU are like, NOT what Pokemon you like. It is supposed to be a personality trait matching.

Though, aren't Pokemon like humans? Who says all Sevipers hate Zangoose? There's always a Romeo and Juliet. You can't judge a Pokemon by its species, they're each going to have their own individual unique traits. Not all Diglett and Dugtrio have to like digging, perhaps they dislike it but are stuck doing it because of what they are and it is a forced lifestyle on them.

A Hitmonchan is made to punch, who says you can't teach it to kick? Hitmonlee is made to kick, it still has hands, you could teach it to punch. Just because they're forced into their specific design potentials doesn't mean every single one of them is going to like it.

Why would you think that? Because a Pokedex tells you so?

after thinking about it i have to agree, that would be kinda neat too, a romer and juliet without the dying of course, <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/JigglyLOL.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />

Ditto, because I can transform to fit in anywhere and I am a jack of all trades.

Again, this topic is a personality trait matching, refer to my previous post as well as the specific reasoning behind inileaters response. There's a very small yet distinctive difference between what you would like to be, what you like most and what it is your match by personality. All three of which require different perspectives of reasoning

I would say Charizard, easy to enrage and difficult to control but if you convince me to trust you i will be loyal to you forever. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/PiplupHappy.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="^_^" />

Interesting thought Ryessa -- though I would tend to lean towards the idea that what you like most is what you strive to be... not necessarily what you are (or what you are like), but I would think that what we strive for (or simply wish we were and don't strive for out of apathy) what we admire/like most/are most attracted to.

Anyway, I'd rather see a pokemon rendition of MacBeth or Titus Andronicus.

I'm either like Noctowl,

Pokedex: Its eyes are specially adapted. They concentrate even faint light and enable it to see in the dark.

-It seems that it thinks often, is calm, and notices the smallest of details. It also looks sarcastic. It's facial expression just SCREAMS "me."

Or like a Pidgey.

Pokedex: It is docile and prefers to avoid conflict. If disturbed, however, it can ferociously strike back.

-I'm not that strong, and I don't like to fight. I do "ferociously strike back" on occasion, but that doesn't make me successful. However I tend to be a cheery person, even if the aforementioned sarcasm hides that.

A good example of this is in the series, in the earlier episodes there is a Sandshrew who loves to train by swimming in the water. Just like stereotypes don't necessarily apply to us, they shouldn't on Pokemon. I do agree with you, a MacBeth would be interesting.

I'd be like a Snorlax Rapidash hybrid...

Or maybe just a Snorlax. Ha.

Another reason for this thread is to explain -why- you think your personality matches theirs.

I'm like Snorlax because I can get lazy sometimes (Specially weekends <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/SnorlaxTired.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="-_-" /> )
