Actually I was just retelling a SC2-joke a mate told me where "Slakings" was replaced by "marines". The point is that it's hard to find a pokémon that can counter Slaking (or a unit that can counter marines), i.e a "Counter". The place where you get your booze in a bar is also called a counter. I think it's not very far-fetched, is it?
