Trade receptionist bugged

I went to the trade receptionist in olivine and set up my password but when i go back to goldenrod the security guard says the same thing. Go to olivine and set up a pass. So i went to the playderdex and went into settings and had the password emailed to me. the password was emailed to my email as it should. But in game the same messages happen? Do i need to make another account or should i wait for this game to go out of beta before i can trade?

if i have to make another account il be disappointed since i payed for membership .... :(

I misread that at first... so you've set a trade password, but it's not working for the account?

Just to make sure, the password you set is five digits and does not begin with zero?

It appears you created a 6 digit password. In a few days I will update the NPCs to not allow this. Until then you can make a password as long as it has only 5 digits.
