Okay so this isnt so much a discussion thread but rather a place to ask you guys a question.
Assume two things in this thread
1 - Current Shinys will stay the same
2 - Future Shinys IV range will change

Now dont take this as this will actually happen. It is purely here for your opinions.
22-31 Gives pokemon a 10 point range for IVs
25-31 Gives pokemon a wider range than they do now with a decent 7 point range
27-31 Gives pokemon a small 5 point range, only 1 higher than the current system, not too much of a difference

Please take a step back and answer what you believe to be the best choice for the future of the game and what you feel is most balanced.

25-31. Not more or less due older will keep their ivs and there are a lot of olders which may be an issue if 22-31 are supposed to battle with them.

I do see 25-31 a good deal for every pokémon and their moveset

I voted 25-31 as its a noticeable difference while not being dramatic. 27-31 to me would be a waste of time, not much of a difference at all. 22-31 is ok, i wouldn't be angry if it happens, i just think 25-31 is a nicer range. But that's just like, my opinion maaaan.

Could you add a "lower than 22-31" option? Or maybe a "0-31".

I could but i dont feel the pwo community as a whole can handle that type of change so ill just leave it out for now

Dovee you also can ask in this poll "Current Shinys will stay the same" and also know the people that dont want a change..

I read the iv change topic and i thought 22-31 was ok but 25-31 seems really balanced, i would be happy with that. They're still good pokemon all round, so it'd still be worth my time obviously :D

I like the 25-31 idea as it is not overly dramatically changing the new shinies, although 22-31 wouldnt be too much of a problem either.

That's our Naruto allright :)
How the new rule would change the token shinys? Would their granted range be extended too? If yes, then 22-31 has my vote. If not, 25-31, because otherwise there wouldn't be a gap big enough between TS and wild shinys.

After reading through all the shiny stuff these results don't surprise me.
I am going to take a wild guess and say that the votes in the 27+ range don't want change at all.

Ignoring the two assumptions made, I think the only two ways to go are leaving things as they are or randomise all shinies past and present. When you talk of a balanced future game, you cant just create a big gap between old and new shinies they all have to be treated the same. Randomising all stats of past and present will annoy a few people in the short run, but people will get over it as they did when the 20% stat boost was abolished. I dont really care which way you go about this, randomising or doing nothing but making a fairly significant gap between existing and new shinies isnt the answer.

25-31 perfectly fine ( dont touch current)
