Sheer Cold definitely worked for me last time I used it. Maybe it's because it's "not very effective"?

tahts not true, even once a horn drill killed my meganium....
so OHKO doesn't depend upon type effectiveness, may be recently a bug has been created for Sheer Cold, otheriwise it worked for me last time.....

OHKO moves in PWO are treated as status moves (or as including a status change), which cause the ailment DEATH (effect: HP becomes 0) - it is possible in rare cases this status change may fail. This is due to the flawed way our current battle system handles status ailments.

I strangely feel I've said exactly this once before...

Horn Drill has no type disadvantage over Meganium: horn drill (normal att.) vs. Grass Type. So your argument is invalid.

I've also had Sheer Cold fail on me due to it being 'not very effective'.

If you say it is because of "Not Very Effective"

Then What is this? How can you explain this picture...?

It's a glitch Numontia, just because it works sometimes doesn't mean it doesn't glitch sometimes as well. That seems to be the common factor of the glitch so far that's all.
