Woohoo! I've finally turned 10! I'm so excited! Today I get to go see Professor Linden to begin my journey. I've always wanted my own Pokemon and I just can't wait to get off this wretched island...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bleh. Professor Linden is as scatterbrained as usual. How did this guy ever become a Professor in the first place? Making me search for his papers... Psh. I don't understand why his assistants didn't get assigned to such a chore. Oh well I guess. On the brightside, Professor Linden gave me a Pokedex and he had told me that I could head on over to the dock to get a ferry ticket to one of the two mainlands. =)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before heading to the docks, I decided to walk around town one last time before heading out... Just to say good-bye to everyone before my journey starts... What a bad decision. As usual, a simple farewell turned into me running errands... What's with people on this island?! I love them all to death, but I'm not some delivery girl. Old Man Marty made me get him a couple of nasty "Tomato Sandwiches". Really... Tomato sandwiches? After that, I decided I didn't really need to say good-bye to everyone. Unfortunately, on my way back to the docks, I heard Old Charles talking louder than normal, so I went in to check on him and his wife. Almost instantly, Cornelia begged me to listen to her husband... Poor Cornelia... Those stories must get so boring to her. I agreed and sat down beside Charles. I didn't actually pay much attention, only nodded every once and awhile to give off that I could possibly be enjoying myself. After such a long story, Cornelia thanked me and gave me some starting money for my journey, so I guess it wasn't a complete waste of my time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to the Docks ticket seller and he told me the ship was ready to sale. Went and talked the sailor and he asked me which mainland I wanted to head to for the start of my quest. This is going to be one of the hardest decisions I'm going to have to make while on my journey... Johto? Or Kanto?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kanto, here I come! The sailor gave me a Kanto Passport and I hopped on the ferry. The choice came to me a lot easier than I thought it would. My older siblings both went the Johto route for their journeys so I thought I'd go on a seperate path. Upon arrival, Professor Oak greeted me and escorted me to his laboratory where he gave me yet again another choice... So many choices... Growing up kinda' sucks. The choice this time was a choice for my life-time companion for my Pokemon Journey. Something I can't hastily choose. The water Pokemon, Squirtle? The Fire type, Charmander? Or the Grass Pokemon, Bulbasaur? All three were sooooo cute! In the end though, I decided to pick Charmander.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charmander and I almost instantly got along! After picking him, I ran straight outside of Professor Oak's Lab and released him from his PokeBall and we started our journey out of Pallet Town. We entered our very first Pokemon Battle on our first step onto Route 1's grass. A wild Pidgey. With a few Scratch attacks, Charmander made quick work of the Pidgey and we proceeded on. Further down Route 1, we saw a few buildings and a signpost reading Viridian City. Instead of going to the Pokemon Center like a smart trainer would have done, I veered left and entered Route 22.

Rude! A older trainer walked up to me wanting to battle... Then changed his mind after he realized how new I was. I'm pretty sure I could have taken him.

Getting over such a rude trainer, I decided to search in the nearby grass. My first encounter on Route 22 was a Mankey! Mankey looks so adorable! The battle was pretty intense. I started off with a Scratch attack, but Mankey retaliated with a Scratch too... I should have healed. Charmander was very weak. Attack again? Run away? Psh. I decided to reach into my bag for an empty PokeBall. Better learn how to catch a Pokemon now rather than later right? The ball absorbed the Mankey and with a few shakes, I had caught my first Pokemon! My Pokedex beeped as soon as the catch was confirmed, letting my know that the Pokemon's information was added to it's database.

Woke up bright and early today to continue my journey! Ended up staying my night in the Pokemon Center. I spent a great deal training Charmander and Doduo yesterday and I even found another partner, Mankey.

When I left the Pokemon Center, I decided to head north. On my way out of town I saw another road sign reading "Viridian Forest". Eww.... Forests means bugs... Gross!

My first few steps into Viridian Forest were a lot different than I thought it would be. There were a lot of trainers wandering around. Even more than in Viridian City. Also, instead of screams of disgust, I heard a lot of people yelling loudly about Pikachu. "Where are all the Pikachu?!?!?!?".
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a bit of training, a random trainer challenged me... He was another one of Oaks helpers. This battle would be my first battle for my journey and I'm not going to lie... My heart began pounding furiously with excitement. The battle was very intense and ended up being our Charmander battling it out in a Scratch fest. The battle was very close, but ended up with me as the victor. After our match, the trainer gave me his name and number and TyTy and I became rivals.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my gosh!!!! A Shiny Ledyba! I can't believe it! I was near the exit of Viridian Forest when I noticed a golden sparkle in a nearby tree! Normally I'd think the bugs were gross... But this one was golden! So beautiful! I didn't want to risk knocking it out, so I threw a PokeBall at it when I got close enough. Caught on the first toss! ;)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ran into yet another trainer that wanted to battle. Zack Seypher. Zack was a formidable opponent as well! I've been training hard though and even though this match was close as well, I came up with another win. ^^

Zack and I soon after became friends and went our seperate way. Well, kinda' sorta'. He had told me about the Gym Challenge. Collecting 16 badges from Kanto and Johto to prove my ability as a Pokemon Trainer? Psh! Of course I'd accept this challenge. So, we both went back into the forest to resume our training.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I spent many hours in the forest, training hard. Charmander had evolved into Charmeleon and I had found a PIkachu that I plan to give to TyTy in the future. I talked to an elderly lady who wanted me to find a Butterfree so that she could draw it and as a reward she would allow me to go into a secret area to capture Pokemon that I couldn't find in the normal part of the Forest. Challenge accepted. :)
I had found and caught a Butterfree and brought it to the elderly lady. The Clearing was amazing! As the lady promised, the Pokemon I found weren't inhabiting the main forest. I caught a few Pokemon and trained even more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Pokemon were tired and weakened, so I decided to head to the Pokemon Center in Pewter City. To my surprise, the nurse at the front desk had a gift for me. A gift from my older sister. I opened the gift and inside was a lone PokeBall and a note.
"Here's a Pokemon that I caught awhile ago. Hope it helps you out. Enjoy your journey. Love, your older sister"

I haven't heard from my sister in a couple of years... I picked the PokeBall and gave it a toss. My sister had given me the water type Pokemon, Mudkip!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After taking my newest partner back into the forest and training awhile on wild Pokemon and by battling other trainers that challenged me, Mudkip had evolved into a Marshtomp! I took the evolution of my Pokemon as a sign that it was time to challenge the Gym Leader of Pewter City, Brock. On my way back out of the forest though, I ran into a wild Pidgeotto. It was so strong! I caught it though! Brock is soooooooo going down.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brock is defeated! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I got the Boulder Badge!!!!

TyTy was waiting for me outside and asked if he could travel with me and I accepted. He still needs to battle Brock though... So I guess I'll do some quick shopping and a bit of training! :)

Tyty and I had made it through Mt. Moon in one piece pretty easily. It wasn't as bad or scary as I thought it would be... Actually, it was kinda' cool and fun! We explored that entire cave! We both caught a few Pokemon within it.

So, as we were making our way from the cave exit to Cerulean City, we noticed that there was a worried looking man that kept on staring at Mt. Moon. Tyty and I asked the man what was wrong and he had told us that his three children were supposed to meet him out of the cave awhile ago. Luckily for him, we had already seen them all during our exploration of the cave so we assured the man that we would go back in to ask them to head out. He gratefully handed us Escape Ropes for his children.

The children all accepted the Escape Ropes and we left them to it. As we were nearing the exit of the cave, I had decided that I wanted to remain in Mt. Moon and do a bit more training. Tyty and I went our seperate ways.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whew... All this training is really getting to me. I know my Pokemon do FAR more work than me, but I'm exhausted! I've noticed that I'm much stronger of a person now though... I'm starting to feel a lot more confident in my abilities. My Pokemon... I'm so proud of them! They are put out 110% effort no matter how difficult the challenge!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's time to challenge Cerulean City's Gym Leader! I heard that Misty is a water type Pokemon trainer. Pikachu is going to have a strong role in this match!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The gym is sooooo beautiful! It's like a giant pool! :) Misty is in a match at the moment against some trainer named Fonz. He's doing great! I'll just join this other trainer here, I think she's called Espy? And cheer him on until it's my turn.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Omg! The trainer I mentioned earlier did phenomenal! On his way out of Cerulean Gym though, he challenged me. I gladly accepted his challenge and met him outside of the Pokemon Center. I used this match as a scale on how well or not so well I'd do against Misty. Fonz really was a great battler, but I ended up beating him in the end.

After my match against Fonz, we became friends and promised to battle again in the future. We parted ways and I re-entered the Cerulean Gym and challenged Misty. That battle against Fonz really boosted my confidence and I easily beat Misty. Misty had told me that a trainer by the name of Takushi had mentioned me earlier after he had beaten her. She also told me that he's probably long gone by now. I'll catch up to you, Tyty!

I feel as if I've grown so much since I've last written in here... I've traveled all across Kanto, battling tough opponents, facing new challenges, broadening my horizons, making new friends, and collecting Gym badges along the way. I've gotten a lot done since I last wrote in here, I wish I could have kept a better log of it all. I'm going to try harder to just sit down and write in here more often.

I've collected all Eight badges of Kanto. I've caught many new Pokemon and I believe that my team is just about complete. When I last wrote in here, I had just defeated Misty. I traveled to Vermillion City, and found Lt. Surge. Marshtomp did great work and since my Pokemon was part Ground type, winning wasn't too difficult. After defeating Lt. Surge, I found out from Tyty that their was a fishing Guru in town and I gave him a visit. 10,000 Pokedollars for a rod! That took a lot out of me back then, but it was for the benifit of catching Pokemon that I couldn't find on land.

Leaving Vermillion City, I made my way East. Reaching a large river and having the choice between heading North or South, I decided to head North towards Lavendar. Literally the spookiest place I've ever seen! The Pokemon Tower looked as if it was being consumed by the dark clouds above. From the parts of the tower that I could see from the outside, I could have sworn I saw ghosts flying around.... I couldn't let that stop me though. I set forth and entered the Pokemon Tower. I met a lot of strong trainers that specialized in Ghost and Poison types. Didn't really find any interesting Pokemon, the Ghost Types must not like me very much. On my way out though, I met a single Gastly, but that Gastly was a different colour than what my Pokedex said it should be. I really hope that I don't have to come back here!

West of Lavendar, I saw a route filled with trainers and a signpost saying that it was the direction towards Saffron/Celadon.

I like the concept, it's interesting to see the in-game world from a different perspective.

Everything is up to date and I think I have everything important that happened for October 3rd... =P

Does anyone have any suggestions on what they'd like to see me type about? Or the way I should type it?

I'm glad that people think that this is still interesting. I plan on keeping up with it, but honestly I've just been too caught up in gameplay. =P
I'll update it sometime today though. =)
