New to game

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am new to this game. I have played pokemon games b4 tho. However, I cannot log onto the game even tho i can log onto the site. It said I cant log on because the server might be off but my friend sais he can sign in just fine

The obvious thing to check first would be whether any Firewall or anti-malware software installed on your computer could be blocking PWO from connecting to the internet.

You're sure pwo.exe is an exception in your firewall? That is the usual cause.

Another cause is an outdated client, but as you are new that is unlikely to be the case- the current client is version 1.81

The third major cause I know of is that your computer is part of a network which has extra firewall/security measures operating which block our server.

If it's not any of the above I'm not sure what to further suggest at this stage.
