ok guys, i thought of making a complete guide for fishing but of course i need some help well i dont have to but it would speed up things. What im looking for is Guys/Girls who would be willing to go to a certain area and record Xamount of things what happened

For example

17 Misses

21...

and so on, after we all get this done i could make an average of every place where you can fish and the chances of getting so and so and the average ep for the fishing level <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ChikoritaSmile.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":)" /> Anyways, anyone willing to help? Thanks.

You could always try the wiki, it has a complete guide to fishing and the pokemon you can catch, you could also type "/list" to find out the rarity and chances of encountering the pokemon you are trying to catch.

I hope this helps.

To be honest I haven't found any spot has a greater catch rate than any other with similar pokemon in it, so using the wiki guide is probably the best advice. I also prefer not to fish just to fish if I can help it, unless I'm just passing by a stream in which case I'll always cast a line in. I'd rather fish from grass or cave so I can run and battle between 'nibbles'.

I did manage to get a lot of bites in a row at the Celadon City pool yesterday, but having that happen once or twice doesn't mean it has a better catch rate there. If it does though it would make a good place to level up your skill at low levels.

Oh and on a slightly different note I think it's a good idea to 'park' your nick next to a fishing hole when you log out, in case the map server is down when you log back on. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/TorchicDance1.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />

Yeah, im just going to try most areas to see if there is a rough average or they are actually different, Pokemon will probably be the same but there could be places where it dont give the "Low" pokemon as often but the "high" ep ones

I don't think you will get it,it not depend on the spot but the calculation sever made base on you fishing level.

I'm not sure the fishing level makes it any easier to encounter pokemon. I think I have as many 'misses' at 54 as I did the whole way through pretty much. I think the fishing level on determines which pokemon you can catch on any given map and nothing else.
