My Non-Player Character (NPC) Battles

My NPC battles doesn't work all the time I was wondering if it is normal because this game is a beta or can someone tell me what I need to do to fix it ?

Example : I go face a NPC and he has a exclamation mark on his head and the song start but nothing happens.

either;

- Your REP is not enough to battle the npc

- You already win/lost/dc to the npc

It should said on your chat box if your REP is not enough to battle, to increase REP ~ do some mini quest/pvp
