Logging In At School

Hello, I have a question and want this answer answered quick if possible.



I have PWO on my Netbook and played it at home without many problems, but now I'm at school and the client suddenly shuts down five seconds after I started it. Has it something to do with the IP? or something with the client itself?



Please answer!

i am a teacher and won't allow u to play in school

when i was in university i was playing pwo in school and uni without problems

This is most probably due to a Blocker you school have placed in motion with it's internet usage threw wi-fi.



Because it is a game and software not known by the school it blocks it. Kind of like a Proxxy.



I have the same problem with IMVU also. i can't play PWO or IMVU at college so your just gonna have to wade it out im afraid

Make friends with one of your school techies and ask them. That is what I did when I was in school. There were just special lan / connection settings I had to set on my computer in order to connect as a teacher.

yeah like they've said its probably a blocker put in on the schools system. theres probably not much you could do about unless you could get a tech person to tell you how to pass it.

Too bad the only Tech person around at my school comes once a week, and he hates Pokémon. XP Guess I must play at home then.

Who says he has to know it is for pokemon? My techie did it because I convinced him I needed the access for my sr presentation on computer viruses. Though, the access did help for that too. The point is, all it takes is a single high tech presentation.



Have you tested PWO on any of the school owned computers?

No, because if I download it, a teacher will see it, cuz its near the teachers room and the room has a glass window. No, no, no. We've got our own laptops for school to use for homework only. But I dislike rules (except those for PWO and other rules that aren't to strict).

Can you test the school computer after school or before school starts?
You do not have to download it onto the school computer, just place it on a thumb drive and run it off of the thumb drive.

try this load the pwo client at your house and then when u get to school sign in thats what i did when i used to play runescape back in the day load it first then sign in at school

U Could try to put up online accses when ur at home. and than play on school

PWO fun is meant for home unless you live on campus you'd be wasting you time. My solutionlay at home.
