Ipb Theme Vs Pwo Skin

yea true, i like the original ipb skin cause im not comfortable with the icons in pwo skin.

There are a couple of things about the pwo skin that need to be changed/ fixed before I can give it my vote over ipb. This is that it shows Unread PM's, then it shows notifications after I have cleared the PMs, this sux cuz all my notifications are about the PMs :/ The 2nd thing is the icon for a new post on a sub-forum. The difference between the icon on the main board between read and un-read is so slight, its hard to tell without really looking... at least for me anyway. But yeah, if those two things get improved, pwo skin gets my vote

I completely agree with this. I also find it difficult to tell on the Forum Index if a forum with sub-forums has unread posts or not.



Despite this, I still vote for the PWO theme.

The IPB theme displayed notifications where it currently saiys how many unread PM's a player has. The solution I think that would work the best is to move the "unread notifications" box up above all of the status updates. If someone wants to see the notifications, they have to dig for it. Along with this, remove the notifications from appearing in the top right where your info is.

OR​

Split the top where it says " X unread PMs" so below it, it shows your total notifications. ​
