If each type had a starter pokemon.

Since the dawn of pokemon there has been 3 pokemon types that have been starters (not including sub-types): Grass, Fire, and Water. But what if the other types of pokemon also had starters. What pokemon do you think/want to represent each type? This includes having strong, but not too strong pokemon, creating a nice balance and everything. Some types it's harder to figure out the most balance pokemon. Only 1 pokemon for each type, any gen you know. I only know mostly gen 1-4 so most considerations will not consider gen 5 but there are a few exceptions and with that here's my list:

Fire: Charmander
Grass: Chikorita
Water: Poliwag
Electric: mareep
Psychic: Ralts
Ghost: Gastly
Ice: Vanillite
Dragon: Axew
Dark: There is no 3 stage dark pokemon and to me only 3 stage pokemon are worthy of being starters.
Normal: Whismur
Fighting: Machop
Flying: See Dark
Rock: Geodude
Ground: Sandile
Posion: Nidoran (either)
Bug: Dwebble (Eye test)
Steel: Klink

Just for fun idea, that stemmed from a consideration to add tot he game. I am always trying to think of things to add to PWO to make it more interesting/set it apart from say handhelds and other mmos, and this is one that popped in my head very quickly, then left, yet still left me curious.

So, no this won't be added to the game.

Fist, if you're going to put diff types, you should not put HRs, because you'll shut down the balance on the current economy, anytime. So, I would put commons/rares and maybe Vrs instead:

Fire: known starter
Grass: known starter
Water: known starter
Electric: Mareep is the best one for this spot, good in battles, 3 stages !
Psychic: Ralts
Ghost: gasly..
Ice: swinub
Dragon: Horsea (considering its last evo is a Dragon, otherwise 95 % of the players will choose this type of pokemons because of its streng and hability to learn moves)
Dark: Poochyena-
Normal: Cleffa/Igglybuff
Fighting: Machop
Flying: Farfetch'd (He looks like a good starter to me)
Rock: Geodude
Ground: Sandshrew (Same as farfetch'd)
Posion: Nidoran (I agree here)
Bug: Caterpie or wurmple (they are the only ones that deserve this spot)
Steel: Mawile or Aron, this one is hard..

The economy is so shot out of balance already, it would be good to fix it somehow.
