Try running PWO as an Administrator for the first time, if you are using Windows Vista or 7. If this doesn't help or you are not running these, try Solution B listed here: http://iblamelee.co.uk/pwo/wiki/index.p ... t_direct3d - although this is for a different problem, the steps here usually resolve a number of DLL-related issues with our game. Note that while it says "Windows 7 users only", the steps actually work on most Windows systems but you may need to change the first step to "Hold Start and press R on your keyboard".
