you can't delete you're account, you'll have to wait till you can register and create a new one or just carry on with the poke you chose, personally I'd just carry on since most of the starters can be fun to use, even if its not one of you're favourites.

or you can level the wrong one up, sell or trade it for the starter you really wanted to choose, thats what some players do in this situation
