Having Hard Time To Level My Metapod

just caught a metapod lvl 7 and I am having a hard time leveling it since it only knows tackle and harden. I usually sub it out of battle and have it share exp, but it doesnt get much.

All i need is leveling it to lvl 10,but also when i'm not sub it out,let's say i'm fighting metapod lvl 5,i don't get much exp.

What can i do?

Release the Metapod and catch a Caterpie. I guarantee you'll save time.

This metapod already have tackle,and still it's hard i'm telling you ..

Then suck it up and hunt for other Metapod. Carry potions too if you want to risk fighting other pokes.

How would catch another metapod would help me?

they'll have the same stats,it's just the exp i'm get from pokemons is really low.

that's the main problem.

There really isn't much that you can do, other than grind on wild pokemon or NPCs.

It does get quite boring and repetitive, I had to train my abra to level 16 by subbing it out every single battle.

I'm sure you can pass time by listening to music or by talking to people in the chat, it helped me.

I meant grind on Metapod. -.- You sacrifice other bugs to make your own grow.

pokemons like metapode are hard to raise cuz they are weak and have low strengh

u need patience bro poison your enemy and then switch to metapode

and there is another way i heard players were using it but idk if it's legal

well the problem is the exp share isn't working good

just catch a butterfree in veridian forest ( kanto ) or national park ( jhoto ) .
