Graveler/Haunter didnt evolve through trade

Dear staf today i found a nice guy to trade my Haunter + Graveler with and back to get them evolved

the Haunter no the graveler Evolved so it was kinda useless
• Do they eveolve back when trading back or some ?
• I guess you guys got the logs of the trade i traded at around 02-06-2015 23:00 (GMT+1) with a player called "Dakz"

is theyre any way to fix this issue cause i really want a gengar and Golem instead

You keep the pokemon that you need evolved in the first slot in your party and do empty trade(not sure if this has been changed).

This is correct and hasn't changed. It is intended like this (empty trading, not first slot in party) to help prevent people having their Pokemon being taken by accident and on purpose.
