Gligar and other new "favorites"

I missed last 3 month in pwo, but now when I'm in again I'm surprised with a list of popular poks, like gligar, shelder and so on. Though gligar still don't have second form (or... it will soon have?), and in first form it's rather weak.

What do you think about it? What poks become popular recently (except "classic" snorlax, slaking, kazam, lapras etc)? Please share some valuable info with newbie. ty.

Popular huh, Ive seen (S) electrode being use a bit more often, use 2 screech then follow by explosion.
Steelix is somewhat popular.
I've also seen donphan getting some pvp action as of late,
and Octillery has been in some of the battles I've been in.
