Thanks to the awesome efforts of the PWO Mapping Team - who I am very pleased to be currently leading and, even if I don't always get what they're up to, never feel let down by - as well as various other Staff Members across PWO, today the Johto Safari Zone is being relaunched with a complete revamp!
As of today, visiting the Johto Safari Zone will take you to a fresh, new Pokémon Park, with five distinct areas - the Entrance, Grass Zone, Mountain Zone, Flying Zone and Aquatic Zone (I take credit for naming the last one). Each area plays host to a different selection of Pokémon to battle or capture as you please; and there are even some brand new Pokémon to be found throughout the Johto Safari that have never been catchable before in-game! For $6000, you can enjoy up to 20 minutes of exploring and capturing; and you are only otherwise limited by the number of Poké Balls you have on you and the durability of your Pokémon.
In addition, thanks to Tom210 numerous errors with layering on the Park Raceway map have now been fixed, meaning that the tracks no longer have any silly mapping errors and can be raced or simply explored as nature intended.
I would like to personally thank our teams for their wonderful work as of late; and hope that you enjoy the fruits of our combined labours. In fact, we want as many Players as possible to enjoy all the work that has gone into PWO - which is why I'm pleased to announce that the Server Cap has been increased; and it is now possible for up to 450 Players to play online at once! That's an extra 50 slots, so tell your friends! Until next time, keep up your quests to become a Pokémon Master.
