Evolve Golbat on lvl 99?

So here's the thing: I haven't played PWO for quite the time now and I just discovered that a lot of pokemon now evolve by level-up while having their happiness maxed out. I have an old-Shiny Golbat on lvl 99 which I wanted to evolve by the use of soothe bell back when it still worked that way, but now that it's already on 99 it seems it can't evolve by the new means.

Is there any way for me to still get my Golbat to evolve into Crobat?

Any help is greatly apreciated!

Try fainting pokes with it till its happiness reaches 100% it might ask you to evolve​
