Evolution at 99?

Hi I asked many players but no one was sure about it and i dont want to risk to "throw" away any non-developed pokemon at 99. my question is if it is possible to let a pokemon evolve at 99 via using a stone or trading it (for example poliwhirl or haunter). thanks in advance for any anywers ^^

Item and trade evolution can be done at any level because it doesn't give XP to the Pokemon. So yes, you can evolve at level 99. In fact, many players do so with evolutions that don't learn moves, like Ninetales or Raichu.
