I'd firstly suggest logging into Playerdex and going to your Settings and Status.

How many times have you tried? Make sure you close the client fully between each attempt and restarting your computer might also help.

I don't know of any issue causing you to always get stuck on authenticating apart from a ban. You'll have to wait on GM or ADMIN to check if that is the case for you.
