you get only stuck if you are in a battle when "BBB" occurs

I don't know if thats true, I've seen lots of people log onto being stuck or it happened to them inside a PC, etc.

I think they are stuck in PC or in other places, because they are log onto between Poketime 22:00-24:00. if you are log in before 22:00 Poketime, you can still walk around when Black-Bar-Bug occurs, but if you' re Pokebar disappeared and you encounter a poke or a NPC wants to battle you,  you get stuck.
Thats my own experience from that bug.

Recently (today) I have for the first time. I added a skin, Arnie's cries, wackyracer's move effects and a self-built memory stabilizer so it doesnt eat up my processes. Still no blackbar

The first thing I have done to PWO was to change the tips.ini file.
I have also been playing around with the default skin pack, deleted some things from in there, swapped some sprites around

A lot of people who have 'blackbar' seemed to have NOT tampered with any files...

Also, could someone post a screenshot of the bug? i have yet to see it.

Or Pokémon ID numbers, since these are also somewhat tied to the accounts in question unless the Pokémon is traded...

Actually, I can't remember - do IDs appear in the tooltips when you mouse over a Pokémon, perchance?

There is a method available through the Playerdex which not only allows Staff, but ANYONE to find the Trainer ID of a specific player - you don't even need to be logged in. All you need to do is search for an account in the Playerdex and visit their profile. When you visit their page, make note of the URL - even if the profile is hidden, the URL will reveal their Trainer ID, as it's the number after "UID=" in the profile URL and this never changes. And this works for EVERY in-game account. Therefore one does not need to be Staff to find a Trainer ID for a specific user.

It was actually this knowledge that was the catalyst leading to me developing the IDQuicker Playerdex Helper tool - a tool that made searching the Playerdex much quicker. Version 3.0 of which is currently on hold.

i'm not gonna answer all those question, but i have something that might help you

i play this game using two comp.. sometimes i use my notebook (at my office and home), sometimes i use my PC at home.
when i play using my netbook, i ALWAYS get the black bar bug at that certain poketime. when i use my PC i NEVER get the black bar bug

so maybe its not the factor how old is the account, how many badges, or how many items u held,, but maybe its about the spec of ur comp. like screen resolution, memory, VGA, or something else..
