Server?

Ive been trying to get on PWO all day and everytime i do wanna join i get a black screen with green words on bottom stating:



"Connection refused: Server is currently full"



Now is the server really full? or is this some kind of error everyone else is having? cuz i wanna play and i feel like people are hogging up the servers. i feel as if the Player Limit should go back up to 700 instead of 400.

if that message pops up, it means the server is full. Not a surprise at all, as there're lots of registered players and the server cap is only 400

its just the capability of the server, i was having the same problem today and then i found this http://playerdex.pokemon-world-online.net/svrStats.php which tell you when the server is full, Good Luck!

I was lucky and got in right when the servers got back up. I played for a few hours and logged off so someone could take my spot. Hopefully they will get the funds to upgrade their servers soon. I'll won't log in tomorrow so that someone else can have my spot in the server. I think I got to play plenty this week. xD

There is plenty of space..you don't have to log off just for others to play ... They put the cap from 700 to 400 and there is almost 900k people registered. Don't be surprised if the server is full most of the time.

And before anyone complains about the server cap, that decision was based on the fact that the server was EXTREMELY STRAINED.



And to anyone that says to get more servers: No. There are reasons there isn't more than one server to log onto for several reasons.

Yeah,It'll just cost more and mess the game up.

The reason for low server capacities and a single server only boils down to one thing - bad programming. If this game were to have any kind of good programming it would be able to handle at least 2 servers with the capacity of 1k players per. Since over 65% of MMO's today are created from C++ there is no reason why gamefreak cannot do this.
