Question About Full Server

I was just curious if there was a way for the players who pay for memberships to be able to log onto to the servers at any time because I'm paying 5$ a month so I think i should be able to play before other people who don't pay I'm sure someone has asked this or said something before but I'm just curious.

I was wondering when someone would bring this up. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/MewEyeRoll1.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt="" />

You don't pay, you donate and in return as a gift - you get membership. No this will not happen.

it's not the same thing actually. the difference between buying and donating for a game is that when you donate for a game you get the membership as a gift. So if the server is down for a week at a time, you don't get that week given back to you because you paid for it. The main thing you're paying for is to help the game not to receive something. When buying membership the main focus is to receive the membership not to help out the game.

Domani makes a good point. If you think about it PWO is not those big name games out there like Rift or World of Warcraft which require you pay a monthly fee in order to simply play the game. Thus the reason for the big difference in the words "Paid" and "Donate" due to the fact that a donation does not always have to imply a gift or reward for the money given towards the game in question. <img src="http://www.pokemon-world-online.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BulbasaurSilly.png" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":p" />

think of it as one of those "free to play" games you see nowadays, sure it gives everyone the exact same service, but there are options where you can spend money to get bonus in game things that others in game might not be able to obtain (or at least not easily) for example when you get tokens, yo ucan use them to get UC or other pokemon that may not be released yet

now i know there are some key differences between those games and this, but this is how i think of PWO as a game, a free to play MMO with payable service options (Via Donations)

That still doesn't change the fact that you are donating. Which by definition means you are willingly giving w/e you are donating (in this case, money) to a cause/organisation without the expectation of anything in return. PWO will try to send you a gift for your donation. But if it fails, it fails. We technically do not offer any kind of payable service.
