Party Button Suggestion

I wonder what the original use of the party button is. Since I can right click on someone's name, and I see "Party", and nothing happens, I was wondering if you could make it show us what that player is carrying around for Pokemon? It would come in handy for knowing if I want to battle that player or not.

I think it's a leftover form the old code. It was originally intended to be a feature for 2v2 battles and whatnot, but later the development stalled and the option remained there.

But yes - although the Party option exists in the Client, it's non-functional. The option was added to the Client in preparation of support being added in the future, similar to the greyed-out "Hold Item" button on right-clicking a Pokémon. The main reason these functions are not yet available is lack of support by the current Battle system, making such functions effectively pointless at this time.
