Dait Pre-Johto Pwo Account Broken

My account is extremely old, before even Johto was out. So I am in Kanto (Started here) But I cant access the first gym (I have 8 badges) She says I need to defeat Claire in Blackthorn first (Yet ive never even been to Johto).

I also need the Kanto Passport for Viridian Forest quest.

Help me out? Buggered if I know what to do. Thanks.
