It helps to status the pokemon too. Like growl,leer, etc. I've also noticed some pokes take more effort than others. i.e. rarer pokemon have a harder catch rate, but it could all be luck. Just me two cents/observations!

If you've already tried relog/refresh, then contacting a GM ingame might be faster.

The server has been having issues today it seems. Although sometimes this is due to your network connection. Just gotta keep trying

That usually means that you're either entering the wrong stuff (check spelling, etc.) or that email isn't in the database.

Shadow Sneak is base 40, but nightshade is broken (not sure what it's set to, wiki doesn't say). You can always edit moves from playerdex if you want to test them yourself.

To add to the above, there's also a new NPC in Viridian City (to the right of the pokecenter) who informs you of this.

Try contacting a GM while you're ingame if you can't wait for them to respond in forums. You can see who's on from your friendlist.

Any GM can if they're on. Check your friendlist to see if any are on.

If you think you're stuck or can't move, try /refresh. Otherwise, reboot PWO and try again!

Go to your start menu, then run, then enter dxdiag into the text box. You should see a window with tabs. Go to the display tab and check if you direct3d is enabled. Then test if it works. If it doesn't, you should receive a message saying how to fix it. If that doesn't fix it try updating...

I have the same issue, but for me it freezes 100% if the server is full. I've been having to force close the process itself rather than just killing the task in TM. (It seems if you just close the task the process still stays running and blocks further attempts to run the application)...
