When Does The Server Start?

I got the game downloaded and i sighned up so do i just wait?

Or does somone give us a time when it opens :3

So any clue?

the Server is Turned Off Just Like it Says! there may be many Reason for it! Just keep visiting the Game and Forum Every Half Hour

The server is down, apparently this happens a lot around here, after searching around the net since only being able to play for an hour in 3 days I found that a lot of people seem to believe this game is semi-permanently starting and stopping. A joke going round is that this game should be called pokemon world offline

The game is still in BETA, so it is going to have glitches/bugs/be down a lot. But when it is up at least we can actually play it. I dont mind waiting for it to be back up, cause I know I'll get to play it again. Actually alpha testing is the name given to testing a product while it is incomplete and unstable, at beta the product should be feature complete and the updates should be more for user quality and lowering the snaggly little bugs that impact the player experience. That's why they use beta programs for demonstrations and product previews to get their audience hooked. Plus beta means very little when half of games are kept in beta for their entire shelf-life.

I have no clue what you just said seeing as I just woke up, but! I shall agree with you xD just like in most cases I would. I am currently just repeating what others have said. (that it is still in beta, ect ect)

It would be nice if they updated us on how it is going with getting the server back up or at least tell us what has happened..

I have seen that the server has been down almost 12 hours. I would expect that at least one of the people able to put it back up has been awake during this time.



Anyone know who is responsible for keeping the server up and running??

No idea, from the looks of it they just leave it in a street somewhere and as people walk by sometimes they seem to kick it and it dies, but instead of repairing it they wait for someone to kick it again and sometimes it resets.

Answer: Very few DEVs that have lives and live in different timezones.



12 hours is like...nothing. A job can last a very long time, then you have to factor in sleep...My Mondays last from 8am-9pm usually, and that's 13 hours right there.



And as for suggesting "get more DEVs/have a group dedicated to restarting," trust me. I has been brought up a million times before, and that there are reasons the way that things work the way they do.



Also, making an announcement every time the server goes down (and the reason why) would mean that there would be a lot of posts that would be mostly useless to the public, since it's just coding/NPC errors that no normal player could do anything about anyway.
