Hello again,

On Wednesday at approximately 11pm UTC, we are releasing the Epilogue of Sevii: The Water Laboratory! Yes, it is back and better than ever.

Make your way over to the revived building in Saffron City and use the Water Laboratory Keycard that Lorelei gave you to gain access and help Dr. Marina with her research.

If you don't have the keycard, you must finish the Sevii questline and then speak to Lorelei in her house on Four Island.

Thank you all for your patience with us on this. We are trying some new things with this release and hope you all enjoy it. Please feel free to share your feedback, it will be considered as we work on future releases & updates. But, most importantly: have fun!

Updates on other deliverables will be provided in the near future.

We're all excited with Water Lab 2.0 - and for that, the old lab wiki page is been updated.

For certain there a lot of players who will spend a great deal of time raising their fishing levels!
Which at certain point we can discuss about the fishing progression system itself. ​
Fishing System:
Our fishing system is unique and fun, refined over the years to prevent abuse and frustration. It features level-based progression and ensures safety by temporarily depleting fishing spots, encouraging player movement.

Player Score & Suggestion:
Player scores are displayed in Player Central. To maintain the original difficulty concept (like Water Lab’s access Key requirement), newly added Pokémon should have increased fishing level requirements (like 30+ to fish a Shellder and 40+ for Dratinis, etc).

Fishing Rod Upgrade:
Suggest replacing

Good Rod via quest or Pds. Inspired by the main games, better rods could offer bonuses (e.g., increased fishing EXP gained, "can't find any nibbles" disable, or a slight improve in chances to encounter a shiny only when fishing), those items could been locked behind high fishing levels.

The return of HM Tutor:
With the newly legendary Pokémon added, not to mention the prizes from Icy Hot Competition, HM Surf would make such a valuable addition as a perma content of the lab.

Other Poké Balls:
Due to catch rate of some water pokémons, would be nice to see a seller of different poké balls in-game like:

This is a really incredible update, thank you Staff!

-Nice quest to conclude Sevii/tease Hoenn :)
-Cool unveiling of a certain beast :cool:
-Items to unlock pokes that had been doomed for years :D

And, perhaps most importantly: it is so nice to have a permanent map with appealing spawns available at all tiers. I cannot express this enough. Hunting a T5 is tough but it is so much more enjoyable if there are other desirable pokes on the map. Makes it so you can feel good if you find an epic or shiny rare instead of the awful feeling of finding a worthless rare. If this is a sign of things to come it's honestly a gamechanger.

My mind is exploding with ideas after this update, but for now will just enjoy it. Thanks again!

I just asked about this place recently, and I was happy to see it open again, much better than before. Everyone has been waiting for the legendary Pokemon for over 10 years, this is an amazing advancement for the game. Hope to see more places like this in the future including changing Pokemon and their tier.

Finally some of the niche poke-balls available for $$$. Once a ball gets introduced during an event I hope it becomes permanent for $$$ going foward.

Hi Staff! I'm really happy to all becoming news that i saw in this week. It was unexpected and surprised all. I know that is too early, but take in consideration some ideas (it could be desconsired also, no problems). Please consider on future improvements putting new pokemons in some routs (like starter pokemons on the first routs of each region as tier 4 or 5 and some news to Dragon Den - putting like Deino, Druddigon, Axew and other pokes). I would also suggest create a fossil zone on safari or some 4 or 5 tier pokes holding some fossil peaces. I would like to have all different pokeballs to buy (let me dreamming a little bit) and please let the user has all the routes acessible for Johto or Kanto starter (how can i get my heracross easily?). I know that you are dreaming so high as we are. For me, thats enough to continue being a frequent player in this game. Thank you for hearing us, news and improvements are always welcome.

Some good nostalgia. Not only but also something that elevates the whole game over all. Some suggestions were there and they came out together well. Hopefully more of this later as well so players would keep playing.

When Ability Capsule and Ability Patch are used, do they change the Pokemon's ability permanently or temporarily?
