Pokémon Team help

Okay, so since i started playing i was thinking about what would be a good team for me to have on this game. Here is my idea of a good team:

Venusaur ( as he was my starter )

What are your opinions on this team? Feedback and criticism appreciated and any ideas on what moves a Jolteon should have?

EDIT: Thanks to everyone that helped, i have decided to scrap my team and make a team based around Starmie and Arcanine, any ideas what other pokes i could have?

Flareblitz is better than flamethrower and overheat, aerial ace isn't a tm yet. Go with Flareblitz, Outrage, Reversal, Thunderfang OR Solarbeam OR Extremespeed

Okay so, since most of these TMs are broken/ not in the game yet should i wait for them to be fixed/ come into the game or get different moves?

You can still build a good team even without those TMs.
Alakazam - shadowball + future sight
Jolteon - thunder + discharge + echoed voice + shadowball
Arcanine - flareblitz + reversal + outrage + solarbeam/thunderfang/extremespeed
Dragonite - outrage + aquatail + thunderpunch + firepunch OR outrage + firepunch/aquatail + agility + dragondance
Kingdra - brine + icebeam + dragon pulse + agility
Venusaur - sleeppowder + solarbeam + sludgebomb + leechseed

Okay, i'll maybe go for those movesets and then when the moves i want get fixed or come into the game i will put it on my pokes

Only problem I see is your team is very weak to Arcanine

YOU NEED A WATER POKEMON! (I love saying that )
Kingdra is good and all, but since he's also a dragon he's become very vulnerable to pretty much every strong battler.
I would suggest you to either add a Tentacruel or a Starmie to your team.

Ok thanks for the feedback guys, so scrap the Kingdra and get a Starmie instead? Oh and Alakazam is one of my favourite Pokémon so i would prefer to keep him in the team

Whats a good moveset for Starmie?

Psychic pokemon took another hit when priority moves were introduced (they lost one of their biggest advantages, spd) so i'd say no to kazam. as for ttar, it looses to both meta and arca, so does kingdra (and snorlax). i'd say base your team around 2 pokemon who can beat most other pokemon (arca,starmie) and cover up for their weaknesses and types they cant take out.

If you're making a team around Arcy and Starmie; I think you should use Starmie, an Arcanine might come in handy as well.
