As mentioned in Welcome to our new look Forum, players who previously had an avatar on our Forum that was either uploaded to the Forum, or linked to from an external site, will find their avatar has disappeared since the move to XenForo. If you have not yet set a new avatar - or you are brand new to the Forum - XenForo has given you a temporary avatar, which is the first letter of your username in a random-coloured square.
Luckily, it is not at all difficult to change your avatar. All you have to do is click your username at the top-right corner of the Forum, then mouse over the avatar that appears, and you'll see a link to "Edit Avatar". You can also find the same option in Account Details, or you can visit the "Avatar" page directly. From here, you will find options to either upload a new avatar; or if you have one, you can use a Gravatar by specifying the email address it is attached to (defaults to your PWO-registered email). Note that aside from Gravatars, it is no longer possible to use an avatar hosted on another website - you will need to save it to your PC and upload it to our Forum.
Please remember that standard decency rules that apply to postings on any of our sites, also apply to avatars.
I hope this is clear enough
