It's hard to give you an estimate in percentage. But the main functionality that is still left to do is pretty much:

- Battle system
- PCbox storage
- Chatting
- Online list
- Inventory
- Map
- PMing
- Evolution system
- Item usage
- Pokédex

And probably some other things I can't think of right now.
Not to mention sub functionality such as shadows and water reflection.
There's still quite alot to do but we will get there eventually ;)

Wow, great work Hardcoreh!! We are all so greatful to hear how much progress has been made so far. Keep it up!! ;D

  • Battle background (only one for now).
  • Battle pokemon info (name, level, HP) for both opponent and yourself.
  • Battle pokemon sprites.
  • Battle hover button sprites.
  • Action menu (attack, switching pokemon).

Thanks for the update!

Is the exact number of the opponen'ts HP visible, or is it hidden?

I will say it too, thanks for the update!

Can I make you a suggestion ? (something that the rest of the staff may implemente on their topics) Can you tell how many time takes for every update you make? (time working)

As a musician, when someone says that the career of a musician is easy (in the uni or any way you take with the music), I can't do other thing than laugh... they have no idea, absolutely no idea. For example.

Keep up the good work !

I'm understanding this update as, the battle interface is done and the relevant data is shown, but the battles themselves are not yet functional (it won't yet do anything if you click an option). Would I be correct?

No I can't tell you how much time it takes per update, because my real life procedure is currently not consistent.

Battling is now pretty much fully functional aside from animations.

Implemented:
  • Attacking (without animations).
  • Switching the actual pokemon.
  • Load map screen.
  • Use item menu (bag button).
  • Use item on team pokemon interface.
  • Item usage.
  • Running away.

Awesome, functional battles and usable items! That's probably the bulk of the game's main mechanics implemented right there. Keep up the good work Hardcoreh. Feels like our future is coming ever closer...

SI presume this is just the battle menu and doesn't mean that you already coded every move in the game to work as designed. That would be a shockingly big update :)

HardCoreh, Can you put any pictures of how the client looks so far?
Currently not, as I pretty much took the whole code apart to review and update. (Yes blame me for asking for a bit more time, but I don't want any bugs ;) )
I might post some pictures when that's done.

Ah bugfixing... The most tedious, time consuming, annoying, driving-you-crazy part of coding...

Hardcore, are you going to continue working on your new client or you have any other plans?
