Nidoqueen

Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Nidoking
Ability: Poison Point
Earthquake
Lovely Kiss
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Suggestions: Nido King/ Queen
Exchange Poison Point for Sheer Force
Exchange Earthquake for Earth Power
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give them Modest Natures
Reasoning:
Changing the ability:
This will let it be in place for when this ability is
working properly. Poison Point doesn't do much good
since the typical moves used to kill these pokemon are
things like Earthquake/ Scald/ Ice Beam/ Psychic etc.
to kill these, so if it is changed now it won't really
take away much of anything but will prepare Battle
Tower for the future when things are working as they
should.
Changing Earthquake to Earth Power:
Earth Power is a Special Attack and is more in line
with the EV Shift suggestion and the other moves.
Earth Power has an Added Effect that Earthquake does
not so Earth Power is compatible with Sheer Force but
Earthquake is not. This creates a boost in attacking
power in 2 ways.
EV Shift:
By shifting the EVs from Attack to Special Attack
there would be fewer wasted EVs and attack power
would go up making these pokemon more threatening.
Giving them Modest Natures:
Again, this contributes to increasing their attack power.
Alternate Suggestions:
You could make one of them a Physical Attacker, though
they are preferred to be special attackers imo.
Earthquake/ Stone Edge/ Crunch/ Ice Punch is one of the
move sets with the greatest coverage on any pokemon, and
this set would work on Nidoqueen if you wanted to use it
as the physical attacker. If you wanted to go with Nidoking
as the Physical attacker the move set would be Earthquake/
Head Smash/ Megahorn/ Ice Punch.
Lovely Kiss:
This move is super annoying and there isn't much reason to
exchange it other than there is only 1 pokemon currently
using Toxic Spikes. One of these 2 pokemon could be
updated with this exchange.
Ninetales
Ability: Flash Fire
Sunny Day
Fire Blast
Hypnosis
Flamethrower
Suggestions:
Exchange Flash Fire for Drought
Exchange Flamethrower for Solarbeam
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give it a Modest Nature

if Ninetails leads with Solarbeam.
Changing the redundant and weaker Flamethrower
for Solarbeam increases Coverage.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Alakazam

Suggestions:
Exchange Sturdy for Contrary
Exchange Curse for Shell Smash
Exchange Stone Edge for Wrap
Exchange Rock Slide for Toxic
EV Spread:
252 Hit Points/ 128 Defense/ 128 Special Defense
Reasoning:
I can easily set up on Shuckle.
It doesn't need Stone Edge and
Rock Slide, so replacing one with
Toxic and the other with Wrap will
make Shuckle far more annoying.
Contrary + Shell Smash to make Shuckle
into the ultimate tank.
Heracross

megahorn
close combat
shadow claw
earthquake

Exchange Natural Cure for Serene Grace
Exchange Minimize for Toxic
Exchange Rest for Softboiled
Exchange Mud bomb for Flamethrower
Give it a Bold Nature
EV Spread:
252 HP/ 252 Defense/ 4 Special Defense
Reasoning:
The current moveset makes Blissey a
Sitting Duck waiting for me to kill
it. With these revisions it can
stall more easily while spreading
Bad Poison and Burns.
Raikou
Ability: Pressure
Thunderbolt
Discharge
Dig
Roar
Suggestions:
Exchange Thunderbolt for Calm Mind
Exchange Dig for Hidden Power Ice/ Grass
Exchange Roar for Extrasensory

Change IVs to:
31/ 31/ 31/ 31/ 31/ 30 for Ice or
31/ 30/ 31/ 30/ 31/ 31 for Grass
Reasoning:
Raikou has been a lame duck in Battle
Tower for a long time, this setup would
make it more threatening by giving it
more coverage and only using attacks
that are based off its higher Special
Attack Stat, as well as boosting
Damage Output by increasing Special
Attack Power using EVs + Nature
Entei
Ability: Pressure
sacred fire
stone edge
Bulldoze

blizzard
Suggestions:
Exchange Mirror Coat for Toxic
Exchange Blizzard for Calm Mind
Give it a Bold Nature
EV Spread:
252 Hit Poits/ 252 Defense/ 4 Special Attack
Reasoning:
Suicune is one of THE MOST ANNOYING TANKS
in all of battle tower imo, and this set
cranks it up to 11 by making it even tankier
so it cannot be killed as easily, and making
it able to spread more status effects around.
It won't need attack power because of the
ability to induce Status.
Tyranitar
Ability: Sand Stream
earthquake
crunch
rock slide
fire blast
Suggestions:
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
and Give it an Adamant Nature to increase
damage output.

Eschange Earthquake for Amnesia
Give it an Impish Nature
EV Spread:
252 Defense/ 252 Special Defense/ 4 Attack
Reasoning:
Too much to explain but one look can
tell you what is suppose to happen.
This is suppose to stall the player
and wear them down.

Suggestion:
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
and Give it an Adamant Nature to increase
damage output.

outrage
thunder fang
fly
Suggestions:
Exchange Intimidate for Moxie
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Intimidate is OK but if I switch

vanishes. But if Moxie activates
it stays activated and then Salamence
becomes a real threat.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Metagross
Ability: Clear Body
zen headbutt
meteor mash
hammer arm
psychic
Suggestions:
Exchange Psychic for Earthquake
Exchange Hammer Arm for Ice Punch
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Psychic is semi-redundant and uses the
lower Special Attack Stat. Replacing
it and Hammer Arm with Earthquake and
Ice Punch give it better coverage and
help it attack pokemon that are
Super Effective against it such as
Fire and Ground types.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Regirock
Ability: Clear Body
drain punch
ice punch
stone edge
sandstorm
Suggestions:
Give it an Adamant Nature
Change EVs to:
172 HP/ 170 Attack/ 168 Special Defense
Reasoning:
Improved durability and damage output
without losing anything important.
Sandstorm will boost the special defense
so it is close to the same as the physical
defense while dealing damage to most enemies.
Improved attack power will increase the damage
that Drain Punch does and allow Regirock to
regain more HP from each attack, as well as
increasing the damage output of the rest of
the attacking moves.
Regice
Ability: Clear Body
ice beam
thunderbolt
thunder wave
focus blast
Suggestions:
Exchange Clear Body for Ice Body
Exchange Thunder Wave for Toxic
Exchange Focus Blast for Hail
Give it a Bold Nature
Change EVs to:
252 Hit Points/ 252 Defense/ 4 Special Attack
Reasoning:
Exchanging Clear Body for Ice Body and
giving Regice Hail will increase its
regeneration speed while hurting the
enemy pokemon a little more each turn.
Combined with Toxic damage and the good
coverage of "BoltBeaming" and there isn't
much that can stand in the way of this
pokemon.
EVs/ Nature are to maximize this pokemons
tankiness to ensure it is as durable and
annoying as possible. With Hail + Toxic
it doesn't need investment into Damage Output.
Registeel
Ability: Clear Body
seismic toss
stealth rock
toxic
iron head
Suggestions:
Exchange Toxic for Thunder Wave
Give it an Impish Nature
Change EVs to:
160 Hit Points/ 98 Defense /252 Special Defense
Reasoning:
Iron Head can cause Flinching, but only IF
it attacks before the enemy attacks. So by
exchanging Toxic for Thunder Wave we are
still able to inflict an annoying status,
but we gain the benefit of potentially causing
the player to flinch often and lose turns,
as well as making the enemy lose turns due to
being Paralyzed.
The EV spread + Nature is to increase tankiness
and let the Leftovers do their thing. Even
though Registeel is Super Slow, a pokemon
would need around 550 speed in order to out
speed this Registeel after the enemy is
Paralyzed.
Latias
Ability: Levitate
psyshock
hidden power
recover
dragon pulse
Suggestions:
Change Hidden Power to Fighting
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give it a Modest Nature
Reasoning:
Hidden Power Dark can hit Ghost Types
super effectively, so you can leave
it as it is. Or, possibly change it
to Fighting to give more Coverage and
give a way to counter Dark Types.
Suggested IVs: 31/ 30/ 30/ 30/ 30/ 30
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Latios
Ability: Levitate
luster purge
hidden power
recover
dragon pulse
Suggestions:
Change Hidden Power to Fighting

give a way to counter Dark Types.
Suggested IVs: 31/ 30/ 30/ 30/ 30/ 30
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Kyogre
Ability: Drizzle
water spout
surf
ice beam
thunderbolt
Suggestion:
Exchange Thunderbolt for Thunder
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give it a Modest Nature
Reasoning:
Due to Drizzle there should be Rain,
which would make Thunder 100% Accurate.
And since it has more power it would be
a good idea to exchange them.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Torterra
Ability: Overgrow
earthquake
seed bomb
giga impact
toxic
Suggestions:
Exchange Overgrow with Shell Armor
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack

has low health, but Shell Armor is effective
at all times this pokemon is on the field.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.

Ability: Run Away
hi jump kick
bounce
thunder wave
ice punch
Suggestions:
Exchange Buneary for Lopunny
Exchange Run Away with Limber
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
While I find it funny that Buneary
is in Tier 9 Battles, it really
should have been Lopunny for the extra
stats.
Run Away is useless in Battle Tower,
but Limber is potentially useful.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
Lopunny is on levels 7 and 8.

Exchange Iron Head for Heavy Slam
Exchange Psychic for Zen Headbutt

Ability: Anticipation
poison jab
earthquake
cross chop
ThunderPunch
Suggestions:
Exchange Anticipation for Poison Touch
Exchange Cross Chop for Drain Punch
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Anticipation is fairly useless compared
to Poison Touch potentially poisoning
every pokemon Toxicroak attacks.
Changing Cross Chop to Drain Punch does
decrease the damage output, but it gets
a recovery move to make things slightly
more difficult in return. It averages
out more or less.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.

EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
This pokemon is also on level 8.
Rhyperior
Ability: Lightning Rod
earthquake
rock slide
hammer arm
horn drill
Suggestions:
Exchange Lightning Rod for Solid Rock
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Lightning Rod is only useful in Double Battles
which do not take place anywhere in game currently.
Solid Rock will reduce the damage of super effective
attacks thus making this pokemon sturdier.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
This pokemon is also on level 8.
Tangrowth
Ability: Chlorophyll
power whip
giga drain
sleep powder
sludge bomb
Suggestions:
Exchange Power Whip for Leech Seed
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give it a Modest Nature
Reasoning:
Power Whip type is redundant, and
Leech Seed prevents people from setting
up on Tangrowth.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
This pokemon is also on level 8.
Electivire
Ability: Motor Drive
fire punch
thunderbolt
cross chop
wild charge
Suggestions:
Exchange Motor Drive with Insomnia
Exchange Fire Punch for Flamethrower
Exchange Thunderbolt for Earthquake
Exchange Cross Chop for Ice Punch
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Motor Drive is useless since nobody will
attack Electivire with an Electric type
attack deliberately. And players tend to
like to put enemies to sleep so players
can set up on the defenseless pokemon.
Changing the moves for better coverage.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
This pokemon is also on level 8.
Magmortar
Ability: Flame Body
thunderpunch
flamethrower
toxic
earthquake
Suggestions:
Exchange Flame Body for Insomnia
Exchange Thunder Punch for Thunderbolt

to kill Magmortar are Earthquake, Scald,
Stone Edge which don't touch Magmortar.
And players try to put enemy pokemon to
sleep so they can have free turns to set
up on the defenseless pokemon.

earthquake
fire fang
thunder fang
Suggestions:
Exchange Hyper Cutter for Poison Heal
Exchange Leftovers for a Toxic Orb
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Giving it Poison Heal and a Toxic Orb
will allow it to heal more Hit Points
per Turn than if it is using Leftovers.
This would also potentially prevent the
player from inflicting Gliscor with a
Status.
EVs/ Nature to increase damage output.
This pokemon is also on level 8.
Mamoswine
Ability: Oblivious
earthquake
ice beam
rock slide
ice fang
Suggestions:
Exchange Oblivious to Thick Fat
Exchange Ice Beam for Ice Shard
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Reasoning:
Since we are more likely to attack it with a
Fire Attack than to use the move "Attract", or
"Cute Charm" ability, Oblivious should be
Thick Fat.
With an Adamant Nature, Ice Beam is weaker than
Ice Shard and the other moves get a boost in
how much damage they do.

magma storm
earth power
will-o-wisp
dark pulse
Exchange Flash Fire for Flame Body
Shift Attack EVs to Special Attack
Give it a Modest Nature
Reasoning:
Flash Fire will likely never get used since
no one would use a Fire type attack on this.
And Flame Body may give the pokemon that attacks
it a Burn thus making Flame Body the superior
ability.
EVs/ Nature to give it more damage output.
Regigigas
Ability: Slow Start
heavy slam
giga impact
ice punch
earthquake
Suggestion:
Shift Special Attack EVs to Attack
Give it an Adamant Nature
Exchange Heavy Slam for Drain Punch
Reasoning:
Heavy Slam isn't super effective vs many pokemon

increase the Coverage and give Regigigas the

Energy Ball for Protect will maximize Toxic and make
enemies waste PP. Or go with Earth Power to get
extra Coverage.
